Semi-Truck Rollover Causes Traffic Blockage at US 301 Intersection, Confirms Florida Highway Patrol

In Parrish, Florida, on Friday morning, December 22, 2023, a semi-truck rolled over at the intersection of U.S. 301 and Old Tampa Road, as reported by the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). 

FHP promptly responded to the incident around 8 a.m., as documented on the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles website. 

The crash resulted in at least one injury and caused congestion in northbound traffic near Parkwood Square and Creekside Commons, according to FHP sources.

Emergency crews were deployed to the scene for cleanup efforts. The situation caused disruptions and necessitated swift intervention by first responders.

As of Friday afternoon, FHP reported that the roadway had been cleared, signifying the resolution of the incident and the restoration of normal traffic flow in the affected area.

“Semi rollover on US 301 and Old Tampa Road in Parrish! Emergency crews on site assisting with clean up!” FHP posted.
